Cancer Big Data
Through the analysis of large, complex data sets, we can improve the patient experience by predicting and detecting cancer earlier, developing new treatments or optimising existing ones.
Immuno-oncology
We aim to realise the long-term curative benefits of immunotherapy for more patients by devising new treatments, broadening the impact of existing treatments, and reducing side effects.
Early Detection
Achieving NHS England’s Long Term Plan target to detect 75% cancers at an early stage by 2028 would mean an extra 55,000 patients per year will survive their cancer for at least 5 years.
Prostate Cancers
Oxford is home to the UK’s largest critical mass of clinical, translational and fundamental scientists addressing the need for risk stratification, and molecular and biologically informed treatment decisions in prostate cancer.
